Within the limits of developing bank system two state banks – Savings Credit Bank BPC and Commercial and industrial Bank BCI , having branches in a number of country provinces operate. Now preparatory measures on privatization of both banks are spent.
The private sector is presented by following banks: the African Investment Bank BAI , the Angola Commercial Bank BCA and to "Bank Sol", Banco Sol. In the near future opening of some other private banks is planned.
