Thus practically all extraction in Russia and about 30 % of extraction in Angola is carried out by one company – that testifies to strengthening of its position as one of leaders of the world diamond market. It, in turn, at active participation of the state, can lead to transformation of Russia into one of the world trading diamond centers. Accordingly reduction of a share of traditional manufacturers of diamonds will occur at the expense of Namibia, the republic of South Africa, Botswana, Australia and the companies working in their territories, first of all De Beers and Rio-Tinto that will weaken positions of Great Britain and Belgium as world diamond shopping centers.
